CORBIN, Ky. – CIU women's soccer has been picked to finish fourth in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll ahead of the 2026 season.

The Rams enter the fall coming off the best season in program history, finishing 2025 with a 13-6-1 overall record and a 9-3-1 mark in AAC play.

CIU returns one of the conference's top offensive threats in Lohrane Boaventura. Boaventura was among the AAC's leading goal scorers a season ago and earned recognition as an NCCAA All-American and College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American.

CIU opens the 2026 season on Thursday, Aug. 27, when the Rams travel to West Point, Georgia, to take on Point University.
