COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) released its 2025–26 men's and women's preseason coaches' soccer polls this week, and CIU's Rams are poised with solid projections heading into the new season.
CIU women's soccer was selected tied for sixth in the AAC preseason poll, following a 2024 finish of sixth in the conference (7-6, 8-8 overall). The team opens its 2025 campaign at home against Point University on Aug. 23
CIU men's soccer was picked fifth in the AAC preseason poll. In 2024, the team also finished fifth in the conference (7-3-2, 8-6-4 overall). They open the season on the road at Brewton-Parker on Aug, 23
