COLUMBIA - CIU women's track and field team saw several strong performances on the final day of the NCCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday. The Rams finished 7th out of 25 teams.
Kloey Pickens led the Rams in the field events. Pickens earned NCCAA All-American honors in the javelin throw, taking second place with a distance of 35.39 meters. Pickens also placed sixth in the shot put (11.74m) and eighth in the hammer throw (42.74m).
Coral Curry also had a strong showing in the field, earning NCCAA All-American honors with a third-place finish in the hammer throw (46.11m, season's best). Curry also finished 10th in the shot put (11.13m).

Morgan Johnson led the Rams on the track, earning NCCAA All-American honors in both the 100m and 200m dashes. Johnson finished second in the 100m with a time of 12.36 seconds and third in the 200m with a personal-best time of 25.20 seconds ).

Mercy Berkemeyer finished 15th in the 800m (2:27.23, season's best).

The women's 4x800 meter relay team of Gustafson, Morgan Hartman, Jada Figgins, and Berkemeyer finished with a time of 10:21.29.

The women's 4x400 meter relay team of Johnson, Berkemeyer, Hartman, and Gustafson finished with a time of 4:13.41.
