SPARTANBURG, S.C. - On Saturday morning, the CIU women's cross country team traveled to the Upstate to compete in a 6k at the Converse Kick-Off meet. The Rams faced tough competition, running alongside NCAA Division I and II schools, including Converse College, the event's host.
Once again, Elizabeth Gustafson led the Rams with an notable time of 28:58.6 (6k), continuing to establish herself as a strong performer. A fellow freshman, Jada Figgins, was not far behind, finishing in 29:07.6, continuing to impress in her collegiate debut season.
Veteran leadership also contributed to the Rams' performance, with senior Jordan Wray clocking in at 29:52.8. Morgan Hartman, another key freshman, crossed the finish line with a time of 31:08.0, rounding out the team's strong efforts in a competitive field.
