The Columbia International University women's soccer team traveled to Southern Wesleyan University to play John Wesley University in the NCCAA South Region Championship. The Rams came up on the short end of the stick as they fell 4-3 in OT.

The Rams Naomi Reed was able to get the first shot off in the game, but the Lions goalie was there to make the save. The Lions would then get the next three shots of the game off and break through in the twenty-fourth minute to take the 1-0 goal. The Rams would then start to attack and in the 37th minute they were awarded as Janie Holland scored to tie the game. The teams would go into half tied at one.

The second half was the half of goals. John Wesley was able to score just fifty-five seconds into the half to take the one goal lead, but the Rams answered just four minutes later as Abby Martin was able to score. The tie was short lived as the Rams were able to score their third goal at the 51:25 mark as Alanna Battermann converted. The teams would continue to battle, but a penalty kick was awarded to the Lions. As they stepped up the crowd was quiet. The Lions were able to convert the penalty kick and tie the game back at three. The teams would go into the overtime period with the winner advancing to the national tournament.

The Rams would get one shot off, but it was John Wesley who would score the decisive goal with four minute left in the overtime. They would win 4-3.

The Rams had 14 shots, with 7 being on goal...Alanna Battermann, Abby Martin, and Janie Holland all scored for the Rams... Sam Wammock had a great game in goal as she had eight saves.

The Rams close their regular season with a 5-9-3 record.
