CHAPIN, S.C. — CIU men's golf finished fourth overall at the 2026 Koala Classic, posting a final-round score of 323 for a two-day total of 623.
Luke Hammond led the Rams with a fourth-place individual finish, carding a 73 (+2) in round two to secure his spot inside the top five.
Micah Smith added an 81 in the final round to finish inside the top 15, while Braydon Hileman, competing as an individual, also secured a top-15 finish after shooting a 77 (+6) on Tuesday.
Nate Caughman recorded an 80 in round two, and Camden Stikeleather posted an 89 to round out the Rams' scoring as CIU battled through a challenging second round.
Head coach Major McWhorter reflected on the team's performance following the final round.
"Disappointing end to our week but proud of the team for staying in it until the end. Losing Andrew [Haarlow] with a hand injury today was heartbreaking. We are focused on getting him healthy and improving as a team in order to finish the season strong."
CIU will return to action April 6–7 at the Competitor's Cup against Bob Jones in Greer,
