WALESKA, Ga. — CIU men's soccer freshman Nathan King capped an impressive debut season by being named to the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Second Team, as announced by the league office this week.
The Greenville, S.C., native quickly emerged as a key contributor, earning a place in the Rams' starting lineup in 13 matches. King recorded 19 total shots on the year while contributing one goal and one assist. King's lone goal on the season proved to be the game-winning goal in the Rams' win over Bryan (Tenn.) on Oct. 27.
