The Columbia International University men's basketball team came into tonight riding a three game win streak, but they had to face off against NCAA DII Pfeiffer University. The Falcons proved to be too much for the Rams and they went on to win 129-82. The Rams fall to 9-14, while the Falcons move to 22-3.

The Rams were able to jump out to an early five point lead after a jumper from Gabe Kirk and a three from Nayquan Wilson. However, the Falcons would start to hit their shots take the lead from the Rams. The Falcons would use a 19-0 run to take a 19-5 five lead at the 15:40 mark. Ryan Gibson would stop the run for the Falcons, but the Falcons would continue to score and use their depth as they pushed their lead to twenty-nine with just over nine minutes left in the first half. The Rams would go on an 8-0 run to trim the Falcons lead, but Falcons would continue to keep their lead in the twenties under Wilson was able to steal the ball and convert on a fast break layup with 1:44 remaining in the half. JC Cavin would hit a jumper right before the end of the half, but the Rams went into the break down 64-44.

The second half was very similar to the first half as the Falcons were able to use their depth and find the open man to run their lead up. The Rams were unable to match the scoring output of the Falcons, but they never gave up their fight. The Falcons would go on to win the game 129-82.

Columbia International shot 43.3 percent (29-of-67) from the floor and 12-of-16 from the free throw line, while Pfeiffer shot 59 percent (49-of-83) overall and were 20-of-24 from the line...Columbia International was able to dish out 20 assists and pull down 34 rebounds...JC Cavin led the Rams with 24 points, six assists, and four rebounds...Nayquan Wilson finished with 20 points and two assists...Ryan Gibson had 10 points and seven rebounds...Damian Hurta was the last Ram in double figures with 10 points and three rebounds...Sae'Quahn Rogers led the Falcons with 20 points and six rebounds.
