The Rams started the game off on a high note as Ryan Gibson was able to hit a three and the Rams took an early lead. The two teams would battle throughout the first seven minutes of the game. After a 13-13 tie at the 13:21 mark the Bishops would go on a 12-0 run to take a 25-13 with 10 minutes left in the first half. The Bishops would continue to hold onto a double digit lead throughout the rest of the first half running their lead to 20 at one point. The Rams would go into the break down 53-35.

The Rams would come out of the half looking to cut into the Bishops lead, but when the Rams would score as would the Bishops. The Rams would continue to battle as they cut the lead to 12 at the 8:38 mark after a three from Tyrone Dantzler Jr. The Bishops would continue to score though as the Rams just couldn't come up with enough stops to make a dent in the Bishops lead. The Rams never gave up fighting, but the Bishops would go on to win 93-73.

The Rams shot 46.9% (30-65) for the game, while the Bishops shot 53% (35-66) for the game...The Rams had four players score 10+ points...Ryan Gibson led the way for the Rams with 24 points...JC Cavin had 15 points and 7 assists for the Rams...Nayquan Wilson and Juraj Rovis each scored 10 points for the Rams...The Rams dished out 22 assists compared to 13 turnovers...Adrian Moore led the Bishops with 18 points.

"I like the fight the guys showed tonight and they were able to disrupt a lot of what NC Wesleyan was trying to do," said head coach Marshall Tague. Credit NC Wesleyan though as they adjusted throughout the game to counter what we did, but having 22 assists tonight was a great thing to find the open player. The guys are really positive going into the break and ready to come back and fight so we just have to embrace the process and trust what we're doing every day.

The Rams will go on Christmas break, but once they come back they will host The Crown College on January 10 at 6:00 p.m.
