WALESKA, Ga. — After serving as one of the most reliable arms out of the bullpen in the Appalachian Athletic Conference this season, CIU Baseball reliever Collin Otte has been named to the All-AAC Conference First Team, the league announced this week.
Otte turned in a dominant campaign for the Rams, appearing in 23 games exclusively out of the bullpen while posting a 6-3 record with three saves. Over 53.1 innings pitched, the right-hander recorded 62 strikeouts and finished the year with a 3.54 ERA.
His 23 appearances ranked among the conference leaders as Otte consistently delivered in high-leverage situations throughout the season, cementing his place as one of the top relievers in the AAC.
The All-AAC honor marks the first first-team all-conference selection of Otte's collegiate career.
