COLUMBIA, S.C. — Due to additional winter weather expected in the Columbia area this weekend, CIU Athletics has announced several schedule changes affecting home and road contests originally scheduled for Saturday.

CIU softball was originally slated to host Paine College on Saturday but will now welcome the Lions for a doubleheader on Wednesday, Feb. 11. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m., with game two to follow at 5 p.m.

CIU women's and men's basketball, which was set to host Reinhardt University on Saturday, has been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 2. The women's game will tip off at 5 p.m., followed by the men's contest at 7 p.m.

CIU track & field, which was scheduled to compete at Roanoke College this weekend, will no longer travel and will not participate in the meet.
