COLUMBIA, S.C. — Columbia International University (CIU) Volleyball has been picked to finish second in the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll, as released by the league office.
The Rams received five first-place votes and totaled 153 points, finishing just behind Reinhardt University, which garnered eight first-place votes and 190 total points. CIU narrowly edged out Milligan (152) and Johnson (140) for the second spot in what promises to be a competitive 2025 AAC volleyball season.
CIU enters the year having dominated the league for the last several seasons. The Rams have claimed four consecutive AAC Regular-Season titles and three straight AAC Tournament championships. Since the 2021 season, the Rams have posted an incredible 75-5 record in regular-season conference play.
The Rams went 35-4 overall last season and would eventually fall to Marion (Ind.) in the NAIA Championship Opening Round.
