Hickory, N.C. - CIU men's track and field team made a small but strong showing at the LR Open hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, N.C. With only three athletes competing, the Rams still managed to deliver impressive performances, highlighted by personal records and a podium finish as they build momentum heading into the postseason.

Meet Highlights:

• Spencer Evans set a new personal record in the 800m, running 2:05.78 to finish ninth overall.

• Kevin Cunningham posted a personal best in the 200m dash with a time of 23.95 seconds.

• Donavan Latimer secured a third-place finish in the triple jump, recording a mark of 13.30 meters
