WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. - The Rams took the field for 14 innings of baseball on Friday morning against (RV) Keiser University. After narrowly falling in game two of the series, CIU struggled to put runners into scoring position and dropped game three. The Rams are now 4-3 with one game left in the series against the Seahawks.
Game Four: Keiser 11 CIU 1: The first four innings of the contest were a pitcher dual between Keiser's starter and Drake Thames. It wasn't until the fifth inning when the Seahawks broke the stalemate and scored four runs to lead 4-0. Colton Lopez pushed Maurice Gomez across the plate in the top of the sixth to get the Rams on the board. CIU struggled on the mound in the seventh inning, allowing seven runs to score and ending the game in seven innings.
