WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. - The Rams took the field for 14 innings of baseball on Friday morning against (RV) Keiser University. After narrowly falling in game two of the series, CIU struggled to put runners into scoring position and dropped game three. The Rams are now 4-3 with one game left in the series against the Seahawks.
Game Two: Keiser 3 CIU 2: A double from David Mora pushed two runs across the plate for the Rams in the second inning, but Keiser cut their lead in half in the bottom of the frame (2-1). The Seahawks evened the score in the third inning, and neither team threatened to score again until the sixth. CIU loaded the bases with one out, but a flyout and ground out ended the scoring threat. Keiser loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh, and a walk gave them the walkoff win in game two of the series.

Game Three: Keiser 11 CIU 0: Keiser took a 4-0 lead in the first inning and tacked on another in the bottom of the third. The Rams struggled to put runners into scoring position until they loaded the bases in the fourth, but an infield fly ended the inning without any runs on the board. The Seahawks added two in the fourth and three in the fifth to lead 10-0. The Rams went down in order in the final two innings, but not before Keiser scored another to take an 11-0 win.
