COLUMBIA, S.C. — CIU women's soccer rolled to a 6-0 non-conference victory over Allen University (S.C.) on Wednesday afternoon.

The Rams exploded for six goals in the first half, led by Callie Rowe's brace. Rowe struck just over three minutes into the match off an assist from Lily Jackson and added her second in the 10th minute, again set up by Jackson.

Nicole Matijow made it 3-0 in the 14th minute with an unassisted goal, followed by Gabriella Hlaca's strike in the 23rd minute off a feed from Mazzie Leos. Zamaria Baugh added the fifth in the 31st minute, assisted by Jackson — her third helper of the half — before Lillian Fuller capped the scoring in the 39th minute.

CIU outshot Allen 26-3 and held a 5-1 edge in corner kicks. Goalkeepers Hailey Resetar and Taylor Bullock combined for the shutout, with Bullock making one save in the second half.

With the win, CIU improves to 9-1-1 on the season, while Allen falls to 0-7-1. The Rams return to action versus Johnson (Tenn.) on Oct. 4 in Knoxville. Tenn. at 2:00 p.m. ET.
