Volleyball rolls through St. Andrews in final road contest of 2024

LAURINBURG, N.C. - CIU women's volleyball concluded the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) road schedule on Tuesday evening as the Rams trounced St. Andrews 25-10, 25-12, 25-6. The Rams (28-2, 18-1) are 28-5 on the road over the last three seasons.

Tuesday's match saw Hadassah Davis lead the Ram in kills with 13 to go along with a stellar .476 hitting percentage. Middle blocker Lydia Gustafson had an impressive offensive output in her own right with seven kills hitting .700.

Kamelia De Jesus put points on the board for the Rams as they served up four aces. De Jesus' fellow setter Melissa Campos Soto recorded 18 assists while CIU's libero Kelcey Mangum posted 16 digs to lead the Rams.

Notable box score numbers also included a -.122 hitting percentage by the Knights and six total blocks from the Rams.

Up Next: The Rams will look to win the third outright AAC Regular-Season Title as they face Reinhardt (Ga.) at home to conclude the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
