COLUMBIA, S.C. -
Rocket League Gold vs Robert Morris University
This week was the final week of the regular season for CIU Esports. Among the eight games endured this week across all teams, Rocket League Gold broke through with a 3-1 win against Robert Morris University. Things started a little shaky when schedule conflicts for both teams caused an unplanned delay of the match, resulting in former Rocket League player
Zachary Snook filling in for
Carter Willis for the first game, scoring an impressive two goals while Gold Team awaited Carter's arrival. When he got there, teammates
Casey Feaster and
Campbell Miller brought him up to speed, and they tore away with consecutive wins to finish the series 3-1, earning their spot in playoffs beginning next week. This team has put forth considerable effort to round off some rough edges this season, proudly breaking through with a win they could be proud of.
