Rocket League Blue defeated the University of Toledo 3-2 in best-of-5 matches on Tuesday night. Having lost the first two games by one goal - one of those games in overtime - the Rams knew that minor adjustments would be key to making the difference. After the first game, Rocket League developers inconveniently pushed out a 1.5 GB update that closed all servers worldwide. After everyone's clients were restored, players quickly logged back into the game, anxiously warming up. Players on both teams would feel the impact of the unfortunate delay of the game. In the end, Team Captain Juan Jimenez would lead his team in a reverse sweep with his mother at his side, who was in town from California to support him at the Men's Soccer senior night the following evening. The Rams are on track to finish the season with a positive record in the regular season.
