COLUMBIA - CIU women's volleyball continued their dominance as of late versus St. Andrews (N.C.), winning their 12th straight matchup with the Knights 3-0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-14) on Tuesday evening. CIU holds a 12-3 all-time record versus SAU. The No. 23-ranked Rams are now 19-1 overall and 9-0 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).
CIU stifled the Knights, the most recent addition to the series, on Tuesday night. The Rams held SAU to a .021 hitting percentage while totaling 53 total digs. Lexabel Rojas led the defensive effort with 11 digs, while Kamelia De Jesus posted 8. De Jesus contributed 17 assists as well, while fellow setter Melissa Campos Soto picked up 16 assists of her own. The Ram's offense complimented their defense with a balanced attack as ten players picked up a kill, with Hanah Weiss headling the evening with 11. Freshman Bellamy Fennell rounded out the CIU performance with a career day serving, picking up five aces.
The Rams have now extended their AAC regular-season win streak to 14 games dating back to the 2023 season.
