COLUMBIA - CIU Overwatch Gold claimed another victory over Ringling College Rollers Monday night in Game 2 of the NACE Starleague. Having won the Best of five match with a 3-0 record, CIU Overwatch Gold remains undefeated in the NACE regular season since their first season back in Spring 2023. When interviewed, Team Captain Raymond Williamson assured that scrimmaging five days a week, and playing in other competitive brackets on weekends keeps them at their sharpest, and that we should expect another victorious regular season. Williamson goes on to give a shout out to Ayden Wiggins, who transitioned from a Main Support role to DPS this semester, and has risen to the occasion, often outperforming veteran DPS players on the team.

CIU Overwatch Gold competes in the NACE Open Premiere division, where they'll be pitted against Division 1 and Ivey League schools. Matches are held every Tuesday night at 7:00pm ET and are broadcasted on Twitch with shout casting provided by current CIU students and staff.
