TOCCOA FALLS, Ga.- The CIU Baseball team, entered its second game of the NCCAA South Region after dismantling Trinity Baptist College on Monday. The Rams were pitted against the host school, Toccoa Falls College, facing them for the second time this season. In their previous match-up, CIU won two close games over the Eagles to take home the series sweep. Today would see much of the same, as the Rams found some much-needed late-game firepower beating the Eagles 16-4.

- The Eagles struck first in the 2nd inning, with a homer to right field, going up 1-0 over the Rams.
- CIU fought back in the 3rd inning, as Kody Trujillo hit a two-run homer to left field. Later in the inning, Buddy Bleasdale singled to right field, sending Alex Miller home for their third and final run of the inning.
- The Eagles hit back in the following inning, off of a two-run homer from Jones, tying the game at three-all.
- The Rams bats found their rhythm in the 5th inning, scoring a whopping ten runs. Alex Miller got things started with an RBI single. Two at-bats later, Carter Willis blasted a three-run homer over the right-field fence. Later in the inning, Gabe Austin, Robert Bell, and Miller would all hit RBI singles to score. Kody Trujillo came up big with an RBI double to right-center field. The 10th and final run of the inning were scored from a Carter Willis sacrifice fly, sending Kody Trujillo home.
- CIU was in a position to put away the game in the 6th inning, as Kody Trujilo hit a three-run homer to left field, ending the game on run rule.
