Head Coach Sara Allen was pleased with her team's grit and effort in both games. "Today was a great first game day. We got a lot of looks at a lot of different people, and I'm pleased with how everyone competed together. Trinity Baptist came out to fight and challenged our bats. The thing I'm happiest about is the grit we showed when we were down deep in the game, to consistently put runners on base and come up with big hits to bring them in. I'm very pleased with our pitching staff, too, and their composure to work out of sticky situations." commented Allen.
