DAYTON, Tenn. - The CIU women's soccer team was back on the road on Friday as they traveled to Dayton, Tennessee, to take on Bryan College. The Rams came into Friday match hot off a win against Union College on Saturday, beating the Bulldogs in a thrilling overtime win. As the Rams hoped to bring that momentum into Fridays match, they would fall short 2-0 to the Bryan Lions.

• 37:56 Bryan had a chance with a shot from Campbell Brown, but would be saved by CIU goalkeeper Nadia Threatt.

• 35:15 CIU defender Janna Rickenbacker got involved in the offense, getting a shot off that was batted away by Bryan goal keep Caragan Treola. 
• 28:15 The Lion goal scorer Makena Giles was stopped by CIU goalkeeper Nadia Threatt, keeping her team in the game. 
• 5:08 Bryan College extended their lead with a score from Makena Giles, giving the Lions a 2-0 lead.

• While the scoreboard doesn't reflect it, Threatt was able to keep her team in the game with four key stops up until the final minutes of the second half.
