COLUMBIA, SC - The CIU men's soccer team played its final home game of the season on Tuesday afternoon, as the Rams played host to Bluefield College. After a tough loss to Bryan College on Friday of last week, CIU looked to get back to the winning way against their in-conference foes. CIU's hot first half start propelled them to victory over Bluefield College. 

Key Plays
First Half 

• 38:30 Rahim Gordon got things started for CIU early. A free-kick landed at the feet of Gordon, where he was able to finish the play for a score. 
• 23:43 Forward Rahim Gordon found his way to the net yet again moments later to give CIU a 2-0 lead. Gordon created space inside the box to get a left side shot off for the score. 
• 10:24 Bluefield midfielder Jonathan Gonzalez nearly scored but was denied by CIU goalkeeper Hazel Ley. 

Second Half 

• 38:18 CIU's Rahim Gordon almost had a hat trick with another shot on goal but was blocked by Bluefield goalkeeper Jake Mendoza. 
• 36:10 Bluefield forward Drak Cullens had an opportunity to score but was denied yet again by CIU goal keeper Hazel Ley. 
• CIU shut Bluefield down in the second half to win their fourth game of the season. 

Key Players 

CIU Goal Keeper - Hazel Ley 

• Ley recorded four saves and his first clean sheet as a Ram in CIU's defeat over Bluefield. 

CIU Forward - Rahim Gordon 

• Gordon scored both of CIU's goals against Bluefield and had seven shots on goal.
