ATHENS, Tenn. - The CIU men's soccer team went on the road for the first time this weekend, as they traveled to Athens, Tennessee to challenge the Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs. The Rams sat undefeated through three games in the AAC, beating Truett McConnel Wednesday night at Sessions Field. Despite a strong start to the season, CIU leaves Athens with its first loss of 2020.

First Half
- The Bulldogs started off hot in the first half, as they registered four shots in the first 15 minutes, with one leading to a score in the 32nd minute by Kuda Nhiwatiwa.
- In the 18th minute, TWU struck again to go up 2-0 with a score from Harry Baggaley.
- TWU continued to apply the pressure as they would score their third goal of the game in the 10th minute by Leo Anthony.
Second Half
- The Bulldogs kept the momentum going in the second half, as they got on the board in the 35th minute with a goal from Billy Boag.
- TWU scored yet again in the 32nd minute to go up 5-0 on the Rams.
- The 6th and final goal of the night for TWU came at the 29-second mark from Billy Boag, making a hat trick for the Bulldog forward.
