Nadia Threatt, kept the Rams in the game with four huge saves in the second half. The Rams had a great opportunity with a corner kick from
Taylor Kyle. Once again, neither side was able to gain an advantage, and the game headed for overtime.
The first overtime period would end in stalemate, as the Skyhawks we're able to apply pressure, getting two shots on net. Time expired, and both squads prepared for a 2nd overtime. The Skyhawks continued to apply pressure and found the back of the net from a long shot by Skyhawk forward Sabria Marquez. The goal ended the game as the Skyhawks edged the Rams 1-0 in a hard-fought, postseason match up.
