Columbia, SC - CIU traveled to Cleveland, Georgia, on Saturday to take on the Bears of Truett McConnell University. The Rams fought a hard match against the Bears but would fall short with a final score of 2-0. 

The action began quickly as the Bears wasted no time in getting the scoring going. TMU scored off of a deflection from a Ram defender. The Rams recovered after this early goal and managed to keep things even for much of the first half. The Bears, however, would strike again in the 36th minute off of a corner kick. TMU would jump up to a 2-0 lead over the Rams going into halftime. 

The Rams looked to challenge the Bears in the second half. CIU took five shots, four on net, in the second half. While the Rams brought pressure, they were unable to convert any chances and would fall to the Bears 2-0. 

The Rams look to their final regular-season match against Brenau University on Tuesday, October 29th.
