The Columbia International University Women's Volleyball team traveled down Monticello Road to take part in the Columbia Volleyball Classic hosted by Columbia College. The Rams played against Morris College and Columbia College. The Rams were able to beat Morris 3-0 (25-9, 25-18, 25-17) and won the tournament by beat Columbia 3-1 (23-25, 25-17, 29-27, 25-21). With the wins the Rams move to 3-5 on the year.

Highlights:
- The Rams opened the match strong as they raced out to an early lead and never looked back as they won 25-9
- The second set between the teams was a little closer, but the Rams were solid through the set and won 25-18
- The third set was much like the second as the Rams won 25-17
CIU vs. Columbia
Highlights:
- The two rivals were neck and neck through the whole first set as neither team was able to gain a big advantage, but the Koalas were the first team to 25 and won set one.
- The Rams woke up in the second set and cruised to a 25-17 set victory
- The third set was much like the first, but this time it was the Rams who came out on top. The teams kept going past the w5 mark with the Rams winning the set 29-27
- The fourth set was a close one as well, but towards the end of the set the Rams pulled away and won 25-21
Up Next: The Rams will have a couple days off before travel to Reinhardt University. That game will be the Rams first conference game.
