The Columbia International University Men's Basketball team was looking to get back to a .500 record on the season. The Rams traveled the Athens, TN to take on the Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan University. A hot shooting night for the Bulldogs led them past the Rams 105-79. With the loss the Rams move to 4-6 on the season.
1st Half Highlights:
- Jef McIlwain got the Rams on the board first with a layup
- The Bulldogs would hit a three to take the lead, but the three by Corey Benton put the Rams back in front
- The teams would go back and forth as the Bulldogs tied the game at eight
- A three by Julius Chamble would give the Rams a four point lead with just under twelve minutes left in the half
- The Rams would go cold from the field and the Bulldogs would go on 20-0 run
- Back to back three's by Eric Graham, Damian Hurta and Zach Norris pulled the Rams back within seven of the Bulldogs
- The Rams would go on a small run themselves and pull within two of a layup by Graham
- After a timeout the Bulldogs would go on a 11-0 run and lead 43-31 at the half
2nd Half Highlights:
- Corey Benton would get the Rams on the board first in the second half
- The two teams would trade baskets, but the Bulldogs would take a twenty point lead
- The Bulldogs continued to shoot the lights out as the Rams were unable to pull closer than 18 points
- The Bulldogs would go on to win 105-79
