The Columbia International University Women's Soccer took to the road to close out the regular season. The Rams traveled to Milligan College to take on the Buffaloes. The Rams were looking to pick up a win help their place in conference standings, but the Buffaloes were dominant today winning 2-0. With the loss the Rams fall to 8-5-4 on the season.
1st Half Highlights:
- The Rams, Rebecca Giancana would get off the first shot of the game, but it would be saved by the Buffaloes keeper
- The Buffaloes would start to pepper the goal with shots and they would score just under the 31 minute mark and take the 1-0 lead
- The Rams would get off a couple more shots as would the Buffaloes
- The Rams best opportunity of the first half came off the foot of Alanna Battermann with five minutes left in the half, but the shot rang off the crossbar
- The Buffaloes would lead 1-0 at the break
2nd Half Highlights:
- The Buffaloes and Rams would keep shooting the ball, but neither team was able to break through
- The Buffaloes broke through with just under 28 minutes left in the game and took the 2-0 lead
- The Rams would get off a couple more shots, but none found the back of the net as the Rams fell 2-0
