Men's Soccer Falls to the Bulldogs in the Final Seconds

Coming off two straight wins the Rams took to the road to take on Union College. The Rams and Bulldogs were evenly matched as they went goal for goal, but a late goal by the Bulldogs gave the Bulldogs a 4-3 win. The Rams fall to 9-6 on the season and 3-6 in conference.

1st Half Highlights:
  • The Rams Nheit Rocham got off the games first shot, but it went high
  • The teams went back and forth, but it was the Bulldogs who got on the board first with just over 20 minutes left in the half
  • The Rams evened the score just three minutes later as Romulo Barreto got the Rams on the board
  • At the half the two teams were tied at one
2nd Half Highlights:
  • Just two minutes into the second half the Rams took the lead as Marco da Paz found Rahim Gordon and Gordon found the back of the net for the 2-1 lead
  • However, just a minute later the Bulldogs evened the score at 2
  • The teams went back and forth with shots, but the Bulldogs found the back of the net with just under eight minutes left in the game
  • Less than one minute later Romulo Barreto scored the equalizer from twenty yard out to tie the game at three
  • With thirty-one seconds left in the game the Bulldogs found the back of the net to take the lead, 4-3, and with no time the left the Rams fell to the Bulldogs
