After winning their last two games the Columbia International University Women's Soccer team was looking to win their third game in a row. Tonight the Rams welcomed Brenau University to Sessions Field. Each team had some chances, but it was the Rams who scored the lone goal and picked up a key AAC victory.
1st Half Highlights:
- The Rams got off the first couple shots of the game with two on goal and onen going wide
- The Golden Tigers got off their first shot with just over a minute left in the half, but it was saved by Nadia Threatt
- At the half the game was still scoreless
2nd Half Highlights:
- Just two minutes into the half the Rams were given a corner kick
- The teams would trade a couple shots, but then the Rams went on attack
- At the 32:30 mark, Madisyn Dupree got a beautiful sideline ball to Rebecca Giancana who found Alanna Battermann in the middle who deposited the ball in the back of the net
- The teams would bring a little more offense to the defensive game, but each goalies were able to make some key saves for their teams
- As the horned sounded the Rams picked up a 1-0 victory in conference play

- The Golden Tigers led with nine shots, while the Rams had six...Each team had four shots on goal...The Rams had two corners and the Golden Tigers had three...Battermann had the Rams lone goal with Giancana and Dupree picking up the assists...Four different Golden Tigers had a shot on goal.
