The Columbia International University men's basketball team traveled to Bob Jones University as they were trying to snap a losing streak. This was the second meeting between the two teams as the Rams won the first meeting 70-65, but this one went to the Bruins as they won 78-66.

The Rams would get on the board first, but the teams would battle, but after a layup from JC Cavin and two jumpers from Ryan Gibson the Rams took an early 8-3 lead. However, the Bruins would take their first lead of the game just over a minute later, but the Rams would tie it at ten after a jumper from Tyrone Dantzler Jr. The Rams would then take the lead on a three from Juraj Rovis, but the Bruins would go on an 8-0 run after that to take their lead back. The Rams fought back to tie the game at 18 and also at 30 before they would retake a slim lead of one with just over two minutes left in the half. The Bruins would score the final five minutes of the half and take a 38-34 lead into halftime.

The Rams came out of the half looking to regain the lead and stick with the Bruins. They were able to cut the lead to two twice, but the Bruins started to pull away after that. The Bruins would start to push their lead to double digits take a seventeen point lead at one point. The Rams continued to pressure the Bruins, but just couldn't find the equalizer to match the Bruins as they picked up the victory.

Columbia International shot 47.5 percent (28-59) from the floor and 6-of-19 from three...Bob Jones shot 46 percent (29-63) for the game and 6-of-19 from three...The Rams were able to dish out 14 assists...Ryan Gibson led the Rams with 20 points, seven rebounds, and five assists...Damian Hurta, Gabe Kirk, and Jordan Dillingham each had eight points...Tyrone Dantzler chipped in with nine points and JC Cavin had seven...Quez Fisher led the Bruins with 21 points and nine rebounds.

The Rams will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Warren Wilson College with the game scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
