Asher Quave-Robinson

Coach Asher joined CIU's men's soccer staff as an assistant coach in August of 2018. The Columbia native is headed into his second season under head coach Bill Brindley. 

Coach Asher had a long playing career at both the college and professional levels. He played at the intercollegiate level at Pfeiffer University. From there, Coach Asher would play in the PDL for the Carolina Dynamo assisting them in a Mid Atlantic Championship run. He would also play for the West Virginia Kings Warriors, and the Fredericksburg Hotspur. He would then play in the NPSL for the Upward Stars helping them achieve a South Eastern Region Championship. Coach Asher also played in the CSL for Burlington SC and the York Region Shooters who were the CSL 2016 champions. 

As a coach, Asher has been with many different colleges and professional soccer clubs. This included a year with Millsaps college. A year with the York Region shooters U23's in 2016 who would go undefeated that year and win the CSL Division 2 championship. Later in 2016 Coach Asher assisted Supernova FC in the OSL. In 2018-19 Asher was the head coach of Soda City FC, a UPSL team based in Columbia South Carolina. He led Soda City FC to a 2019 Mid Atlantic Division Championship. In addition to being a CIU assistant, Coach Asher is the director of soccer at Ben Lippen School and director the director of Gateway FC.
