GREENVILLE, S.C. - Coming off the best season in program history with a 40-20 record and a semifinal appearance at the NCCAA Softball World Series, Columbia International University softball earned four spots on the NCCAA All-American teams. Tristian Phillips made history as the first First Team NCCAA All-American in program history, while Caydon Thompson, Raleigh Stewart, and Abby Ragan were each named Second Team All-Americans following standout seasons for the Rams.
Tristian Phillips – First Team All-American
Phillips put together a historic season for the Rams, leading the team with a .402 batting average while breaking the program's single-season records in both hits (72) and stolen bases (33). The AAC All-Conference First Team selection added seven doubles, three triples, one home run, and 15 RBI while consistently setting the tone at the top of the lineup throughout CIU's record-breaking season.
Caydon Thompson – Second Team All-American
Thompson powered the Rams offensively and finished fourth on the team with a .339 batting average while leading CIU in slugging percentage (.610), RBI (50), and home runs (11). Her 11 home runs broke both the single-season and career home run records in program history, and she also totaled 15 doubles on the year. Thompson earned AAC All-Conference Second Team honors following her standout campaign.
Raleigh Stewart – Second Team All-American
Stewart excelled both at the plate and in the circle during her All-American season. Offensively, she ranked third on the team with a .360 batting average while recording 58 hits, 14 doubles, 27 RBI, and 10 stolen bases. In the circle, Stewart posted an 8-1 record with a 1.63 ERA and 63 strikeouts, playing a major role in the Rams' run to the NCCAA World Series semifinals.
Abby Ragan – Second Team All-American
Ragan anchored the Rams' pitching staff with a dominant season in the circle, leading the team with a 1.15 ERA and 117 strikeouts, both of which set new single-season program records. She also finished with a 12-4 record, with her 12 wins marking another program single-season record. Ragan's impressive year also earned her AAC All-Conference Second Team recognition.
