COLUMBIA – CIU Athletics is set to host its Eighth Annual CIU Golf Classic, held at the picturesque Spring Valley Country Club—an 18‑hole championship course renowned for its Bermuda fairways, Mini Verde greens, and scenic natural beauty.
The day will feature golf (of course), food, giveaways, and prizes with a shotgun start at 10 AM (registration and driving range will open at 8:30 AM). Teams will compete in a four-person scramble format, featuring contests such as Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and a special a Hole-in-One hole
CIU Athletics uses sport to engage and impact student-athletes, coaches, and the broader community through the message of Christ. Proceeds from the Golf Classic all go directly to Rams sports teams striving for academic and competitive excellence and spiritual growth.
