KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Following a first-ever trip to an NCCAA National Championship game and an All-South Region award, Will Kelly has been named an NCCAA All-American (Third Team). This is the sixth player in men's basketball history to receive this honor. Kelly was also named to the All-AAC First Team.
The 6'3 guard had a standout junior campaign after leading his team in scoring with 499 points, putting him fourth in program history for single season points. Kelly was recognized on the national stage earlier this season as the NAIA Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a career-high 43 points against Montreat College (N.C.). Kelly also now leads the program for single-season three-pointers with 88 and a field goal percentage of 44.7%.
He was also recognized as the AAC WinWon Tech Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week twice this season and the NCCAA Men's Basketball Division I Player of the Week once.
