GREENVILLE - CIU men's basketball took part in their first NCAA Division I exhibition game of the season on Monday evening as the Rams fell to Furman (S.C.) 104 - 46. The teams squared off in Bon Secours Wellness Arena a venue that has seen its fair share of college basketball including playing host to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) women's basketball tournament this past year.
Will Kelly led the Rams in scoring in the contest with ten points, while Jaylon Jeter posted nine. Brandon Hunt and James Davis pitched in seven apiece.
Jackson Inman led CIU in rebounds with four as the Rams were able to force the Paladins into double-digit turnovers, with Furman coughing it up ten times.
