COLUMBIA, S.C. - The CIU women's soccer team battled their way to a comeback victory Monday night in an action-packed game against Brewton-Parker College (Ga.) for their second win of the season. The Rams haven't faced the Barons since 2019, where they lost 2-0. This matchup would have a different result than the previous one, as CIU scored two late goals tonight to take the game 2-1. 

Scoring Summary: 
Brewton-Parker's Katelyn Ladner struck twelve minutes into the contest to give the Barons the 1-0 lead. The Rams would go silent in the first half, despite taking ten shots on goal. In the second half, Arianna Elliott tied the game up and notched her first goal of the season at the 73:32 minute mark on an assist by Mazzie Leos.  Two minutes later, Elliott would score again, putting the Rams in the lead on an assist by Tara Collins. CIU held on the rest of the way as they collected their second win of the season and advanced to 2-0-1.
