COLUMBIA, S.C. - CIU men's soccer hosted Kentucky Christian (1-1-1) for their third Appalachian Athletic Conference contest of the season. The Ram's offensive attack picked up right where they left off in their previous game against Johnson (Tenn.), scoring 12 goals against the Knights in a 12-2 victory.

Igor Eduardo scored the Ram's first goal of the day in the 9th minute of action on an assist from
Fabio Bender.
Praise Kabwe found the net next for CIU, followed by another goal from Eduardo with just under 20 minutes gone by. Roughly five minutes of play later, KCU's Ethan Combs would strike for their first goal of the season. From there, the Rams would rattle off eight goals, two from
Trevor Howard and
Sonny Quintanilla, and one from
Fabio Bender,
Praise Kabwe,
Juan Jimenez, and
Gabriel Rokov. KCU added a goal in the 79th minute of the game to make the score 11-2, then
Daniel Monllor scored in the 85th minute for the Rams to make the final score 12-2. The Rams outshot the Knights 29-6. Several of CIU's reserve players had opportunities to play in today's contest including freshmen keeper
