Rams make quick work of Knights for second straight win

LAURINBURG, N.C. - Coming off of a 20-point route of Brenau less than 24-hours ago, the Rams took the court again versus the St. Andrews Knights Wednesday night. The Rams got off to an early lead in the first quarter in part to Teneea Heston and Larissa Lee, who both scored seven points through the first ten minutes. The Rams would hold a 12-point lead (27-15) at the end of the quarter. CIU would not superb in the second quarter, shooting 31.3 percent, but played stout defense and held the Knights to only 10 points. Heston would be responsible for nine of the Ram's 16 points and connect on four of the Ram's five made baskets as the CIU held a 43-25 advantage entering halftime.

CIU would continue to pour it on offensively in the third and fourth quarter as Zion Neat began to take over. Neat would score 14 points in the two quarters to help the Rams keep a healthy advantage. As a result, CIU would claim a commanding victory over the Knights 74-57.
