Student Athlete Spotlight: Jonathan Muller
Student Athlete Spotlight: Jonathan Muller
Columbia, SC- This week's student-athlete spotlight is men's soccer midfielder, Jonathan Muller. A rising sophomore from Grossrueckerswalde Germany, Muller was a consistent contributor on the pitch in 2019. Muller saw action in 17 games during his freshman season, starting in 13 of those contests. Muller would also pick up five assists, three of which came in a 6-1 victory over Piedmont International University in October of 2019. After a promising Freshman campaign, Muller looks to continue to develop and contribute to the Ram's success. We caught up with the young talent this week and asked him what it meant to be a Ram.

"I had three assists against Piedmont, which was very nice. But the favorite team moment was the last-minute win against Milligan College."

What are your goals as a player and for the team during your playing career?
"I want to help the team win as much as possible, whatever it takes. Goals and assists will come naturally if the focus is on the team. My dream is to win the conference and that CIU becomes one of the top teams in the conference."

"I hope I can be a role model for other people, teammates, and friends and show them that God is the most important thing in life."
