After playing yesterday versus Erskine College the Columbia International University Softball team was back on the road today. The Rams traveled to Reinhardt University to take on the Eagles in a key AAC contest. The Rams scored against the Eagles, but the Rams were unable to keep the Eagles from scoring. The Rams fell 10-2 and 13-4 against the Eagles.

Game One Highlights:

• Robyn Andrews got the game started with a walk and Kaylyn DeVaney got Andrews to second
• Alyssa Allender doubled to deep right center to score Andrews and take the early lead
• Right after Allender, Milena Picciano singled to score Allender and led 2-0 
• In the bottom of the first the Eagles bats came out swinging as they scored eight runs on six hits to lead 8-2
• The Rams and Eagles went down in order in the second
• In the bottom of the third the Eagles scored another run on a sacrifice fly to lead 9-2
• The Rams went down in order in the top of the fourth as well
• The Eagles scored their tenth run in the bottom of tourth to take their 10-2 lead
• Andrews doubled to left field, but was left stranded on third as the Rams fell 10-2

• The Rams had four hits with Alyssa Allender and Robyn Andrews each having a double...Allender and Milena Picciano each had a run batted in for the Rams...The Eagles had seven runs batted in on ten hits...Emma Adams had three hits for the Eagles

Game Two Highlights:

• Robyn Andrews got the game started with a single
• Kayla Washington singled to left center to score Andrews after she advanced to second
• The Eagles got a baserunner to third, but the Rams led 1-0 at the end of the first
• Brittney Allender singled up the middle in the top of the second, but got stuck there
• In the top of the second the Eagles scored four runs on four hits to take the lead
• Alyssa Allender singled to left field in the third
• The Eagles got on the board in the bottom of the third with three runs on three hits to lead 7-1 after three innings
• Once again in the bottom of fourth the Eagles got four runs on three hits
• Allender started the inning of with a single. Then Elizaneth Allen reach on a fielders choice. After a single the Rams had the bases loaded.Alyssa Allender grounded out to the pitcher, but advanced all the runners and scored her sister. Trinity Jennings singled to right to score Allen and Andrews. At the end of the inning the Rams scored three runs on four hits
• Neither team scored until the Eagles ended the game with a two run home run to win 13-4
