The Columbia International University Women's Basketball team was back on their home court today for the first time in the new year. The Rams welcomed the Eagles on Reinhardt University to the Moore Fitness Center. The Rams struggled to get things going on offense today as they fell 70-35.

1st Quarter Highlights:

• The Eagles would score first, put Lakelyn Malovic would score the Rams first points
• Amia Stone Johnson scored the Rams before the Eagles went on a 9-0 run to take a 14-4 lead
• Mary Catherine Outlaw would score to stop the Eagles run
• Stone Johnson would score with eight seconds left in the quarter, but the Eagles led 16-10

2nd Quarter Highlights:

• Each team struggled to get going in the second quarter, but the Eagles would score first just about four minutes into the quarter
• The Eagles dominated the quarter as they went on a 20-0 run
• Keniah Watkins and Jordan Sprueill would score the Rams only points as they trailed 39-14 at half

3rd Quarter Highlights:

• The Eagles would score first again, but the Rams would answer with a three by Larissa Lee
• The two teams would go back and forth as each team struggled from the floor again
• Renee Carter closed the quarter by converting a layup off an assist from Kiara Austin

4th Quarter Highlights:

• Sprueill would score the first points of the fourth quarter for the Rams
• The Rams would go onto score the next five points thanks to Watkins and Malovic
• The Rams would go cold once again from the floor
• Stone Johnson would score the final points of the games on two free throws

Box Score Highlights:

• The Rams struggled as they shot 28% from the floor and were only 6-of-17 from the free throw line, while the Eagles shot 50% and were 8-of-22 from beyond the arch...Each team had 23 turnovers...The Eagles dominated the glass as they had 47 rebounds compared to the Rams 24...Amia Stone Johnson led the Rams with eight points...Keniah Watkins had seven points off the bench...Amberlee Zeller led the Eagles with 12 points off the bench...The Eagles had three others in double figures
