The Columbia International University Men's Soccer team took to the road for the first time this season. The team traveled to Winston-Salem, NC to take Piedmont International University. This is the Bruins first season with Men's Soccer after merging with John Wesley University. Tonights game was the Bruins first of the season, while the Rams were looking to stay undefeated. The Rams got a wake up from the Bruins in the first half, but went on to score four second half goals to win 4-2.

1st Half Highlights:

• The Bruins came out strong over the first 15 minutes of the game as they scored two quick goals and by the time they could blink the Rams were down
• The Rams were unable to score in the first half and went into the half losing for the first time this season

2nd Half Highlights:

• After not scoring in the first half the Rams made sure they got on the board quick as freshman Marcos DaPaz continues his scoring spree as he scored two goals to tie the game at two
• Rahim Gordon wanted to join in on the goal scoring party as well and gave the Rams their third goal and first lead of the game
• DaPaz added some extra cushion for the Rams when he deposited his third goal of the night. DaPaz's hat trick was his first in his career and the Rams first of the year

The Rams will be back in action on Saturday when they host Brewton-Parker College at 7 pm.
