After falling twice this weekend the Columbia International University Women's Volleyball team was back in action tonight looking to get back in the win column. The Rams were on the road as they took on Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. The Rams came out a little slow, but turned it on to win 3-1. With the win the Rams move to 6-9 on the year, while the Tigers fall to 1-15.
1st Set Highlights:
- The Rams jumped out to an early 7-4 lead after a Tigers attack error
- The Tigers would fight back and tie the game at 12 and they would keep it close the rest of the set
- The Rams would regain the lead and battle back and forth with the Tigers, but after a kill from CJ Hinson the Rams won set one, 25-23
2nd Set Highlights:
- The Rams and Tigers were even throughout the first couple of points
- The Tigers would then jump out to a 20-12 lead
- The Rams would pull as close as five after a kill by Rachael Branham, 23-18
- The Tigers would score the two more points they needed and win the set 25-20
3rd Set Highlights:
- The Rams came out firing to start the set and take the first five points with kills from De'Asija Harden and Tyliahia Williams
- The Tigers would come back and pull within one of the Rams, but the Rams would pull away and take a 19-9 lead
- The Rams wouldn't let the Tigers get any closer and they would win the set, 25-13 after a kill from Harden
4th Set Highlights:
- Just like the third set the Rams came out quick and built up an early 10-2 lead
- The Rams would continue to hold a strong lead as they lead 19-9 at one point
- The Rams would go on to win 25-16 after two straight kills from Williams

- The Rams led the game with 39 kills, while the Tigers had 36 kills...The Rams also had six blocks with Aniya Marshall leading the way with four...The Rams also had 68 digs...De'Asija Harden led the Rams with 17 kills and CJ Hinson chipped in with 14...Mackenzie Sanchez had 28 assists...Rachael Branham led the Rams with 17 digs, while Sanchez (15) and Bruna Barrozo (14) weren't far behind...Nicole Ighile led the Tigers with eight kills
