The Columbia International University Rams were back on the field today to take on the Spirit of Ottawa University Arizona. The Rams were playing for the second consecutive day while this was the Spirit's first game in the tournament. The two teams were evenly matched, but two goals by the Spirit lifted them to a 2-0 victory over the Rams. The Rams close out their season with a 11-10 record.

1st Half Highlights:

• The first three minutes was all Rams as they got two corner kicks by Romulo Barreto and a shot by Rahim Gordon
• The teams would almost go shot for shot, but 14:47 into the game the Spirit were awarded a penalty kick and sunk it to take a 1-0 lead
• The Rams would get off a couple more shots as Jeremiah Ruth's shot went just high before the half

2nd Half Highlights:

• The Spirit would get off the first four shots of the second half, but the Rams would come back with a shot and corner
• The Spirit would get their second goal of the game in the fifty-sixth minute and take the 2-0 lead
• The Rams would struggle to get off some shots, but once they did the shots were just off target
• At the end of ninety minutes the Rams season came to a close

• The Spirit led the game with 22 shots, while the Rams had 13...The teams were close with shots on goal as the Spirit held a small 6-5 edge...Hugo Lemus had four saves for the Rams...Jeremiah Ruth led the Rams with four shots, while Rahim Gordon had two shots on goal...Ricardo Navarro had the Spirit's two goals

The Rams broke many program records this year and had one of the best seasons in program history. The Rams will return a lot of their squad from this year and will look to make more history!
