The Columbia International University Men's Soccer team earned the sixth seed in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament. The Rams drew a tough quarter-final game as they squared off against the third seed Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan University. The Bulldogs jumped out in front of the Rams early and won 3-1 to knock the Rams out of the tournament.
1st Half Highlights:
- The Bulldogs came out firing in the quarter-final game as they scored two goals in the first five minutes to take an early advantage
- The Rams would answer with a goal of their own as Nathanael Ruth found the back of the net off a deflection
- The Bulldogs would continue to pressure the Rams, but each team would stand strong as the score was 2-1 at the break
2nd Half Highlights:
- The Rams and Bulldogs would continue to attack as the Bulldogs were looking to regain the two goal lead and the Rams were looking to tie the game
- The Bulldogs would score their third goal with just under 16 minutes left in the game and win by the final score of 3-1
