Rams Come Up Short Against Reinhardt

Days after a hard fought draw on the road against rival Bob Jones the Rams returned to Sessions Field to take on Reinhardt for an AAC matchup. Looking to get back in the win column since an early September victory over Piedmont International, it was a tough task facing one of the top leaders in the AAC.
In the first half, Reinhardt got on the board first in the 25th minute thanks to a goal from Jane Howell, then scored again ten minutes later when Celeste Diaz scored to put the Eagles up 2-0 at halftime.
In the second half, Reinhardt scored again after a few early saves from
Sam Wammock by way of Adrien Merrilles in the 52nd minute, bringing the score to 3-0. Early in the 83rd minute
Kaylyn Hernandez took a short pass in the box from
Taylor Kyle to bring the Rams within two, but the Eagles held on for the victory.
The loss drops the Rams to 4-3-2 overall and 0-3-1 in AAC play, their third loss in five games. Reinhardt moves to 8-3 overall and 6-1 in AAC play as they sit second in the standings to conference leader Truett-McConnell.
The Rams will have a few days to recover as they head back on the road Saturday to face Montreat College. Kickoff time is set for 5 PM.
